The St.Regis Doha iftar tent experience was the best till date during this Ramadan. I went with an open mind expecting all the usual things as seen in the previous videos. But I was extremely satisfied with The Souq Ramadan Tent. The ambience was great, bright, spacious, and not noisy. The staff were extra attentive. Their Catering Manager, Susanna Resnikova was very helpful. Mr.Mukesh (Floor Manager), was very kind and gave me a full tour of all the counters. Huge spread of all sorts of dishes and cuisines imaginable. There were four live cooking counters in each corner. Arabic, comfort food, carving area and asia counters with the mega sweets and confectionary counter in the center of the ballroom. An excellent flight experience onboard Qatar Airways' state-of-the-art Airbus A320 aircraft from Larnaca, Cyprus to Doha, Qatar. I really enjoyed the Oryx entertainment system, which offers many entertainment options and is also highly receptive. I was quite surprised there are 3 options for main course for the lunch service. I had the fish option and it was very palatable. Other than one particular cabin crew, the other cabin crew were all very dedicated and did their best to make passengers comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my flight with Qatar Airways. For my review of the first sector with Arkia Israeli Airlines, please see: http://youtu.be/BpI6JxhaZ-4 Thank you for watching FlightTravels. Qatar Airways Flight QR2, London Heathrow to Doha. This is the second time we are flying on the Qatar Airways Boeing 787. In many ways, Qatar is a 5-star airline. However, when it comes to the Economy class seat, it is quite a failure. So cramped. Avoid! Hamad International Airport (IATA: DOH, ICAO: OTHH) is the international airport for Doha, the capital city of Qatar. It replaced the former Doha International Airport as Qatar's airport. Formerly known as New Doha International Airport (NDIA), Hamad International Airport was originally scheduled to open in 2009, but after a series of costly delays, the airport finally opened on April 30, 2014 with a ceremonial Qatar Airways flight landing from Doha International. National carrier Qatar Airways and all other carriers formally relocated to the new airport on May 27, 2014. Hamad International Airport was designed to cater for a projected ongoing increase in the volume of traffic. The airport has an initial annual capacity of 29 million passengers, three times the current volume. Upon compl...
